Some quick photos of the girls while I've got a chance! (We are having a wonderful time at our overseas orientation in Virginia, but time for leisure internet use is limited :)

Lilah at 10 months

Eliana loved staying with Great Grandma and Grandma and pa and Uncle Doug in Michigan

We made a detour to Niagara Falls in NY on our trip from Michigan to Virginia

We also stopped in to explore some Amish country in Pennsylvania.

We had some fun African style worship by the lake. Lilah felt right at home tied up Mozambican style to me.

I think Eliana is going to adjust to singing to drums underneath trees in Mozambique just fine :).

We miss you all very much. The girls are doing GREAT and love their preschool that they attend Mon-Fri while Nate and I are in sessions. Praise the LORD!

Lilah - 11 months

Wow, two months pass by so quickly when you travel. And babies grow so quickly. In the last two months, Lilah has started pulling up, signing "more", she is completely off baby food and LOVES table food. She feeds herself and puts up a fight if I try to put food in her mouth. She likes the food to come from her own hand. The beginning signs of language are starting to emerge. Lilah says "ah" for "amen", and she says what sounds like "Lilah" a lot. I think she was even saying "Ana" for Eliana the other day. She has a fire ball personality mixed with joy and sweetness. We are living in a close knit community for a while as we go through orientation for living and serving overseas and Lilah ha gained the hearts of many. Anyone who makes eye contact with Lilah is rewarded with a big cheeky grin. We are so thankful for our fireball baby! Photos to come soon!
